Calgary-based Assured has a 23-year track record of success in developing urban townhomes and apartments across 9 completed projects. Their expertise aligns perfectly with our own development and investment strategy.
Urban multi-family residential development is one of three distinct development areas which we believe warrant development focus in the Calgary area over the medium term. We have identified 2 projects in this category since the start of 2012 which meet our criteria and for which we are actively working to finalize equity investments. Through our collaboration with Assured, we can reduce overall development and investment risk for both companies.
